PH Glass Lid Grand Piano

Price upon request

The PH Glass Lid Grand Piano is the union of two worlds: Viennese piano tradition and iconic Danish design. At its core, the instrument features a remarkably well-preserved grand piano from the 1930s, built in Vienna with a fully English action. In collaboration with ToneArt / PH Pianos, this instrument has been reinterpreted through the lens of upcycling and transformed into a unique design object.

The result is the world’s first grand piano to combine a Viennese musical heritage with the design language of Poul Henningsen. It embodies a strong identity and an extraordinary presence — both visually and sonically.

Brushed solid brass legs give the piano its sculptural character, while transparent openings in the lid offer new perspectives into the instrument’s inner mechanics. The frame, refined with Bottega Veneta leather, adds a layer of understated elegance. Equipped with an integrated PianoDisc self-playing system, the instrument merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology.
