So wonderful that you’ve found your way to me!
My name is Anastasia Starostina, and I am a certified life and social counselor, psychosocial consultant, coach, and music-oriented advisor based in the heart of Vienna. I use music as a tool in my counseling sessions.
What is Music-Oriented Counseling?
Music-oriented counseling is an innovative method that uses music as a central tool to address emotional, mental, and personal challenges. In a session with me, we begin with an introductory conversation to explore your current needs and goals. We then incorporate various music-related techniques to gain deeper insights and achieve emotional relief.
I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from music-oriented counseling. Music has a unique ability to evoke and express emotions that are often difficult to put into words. By using music, we can access deep-seated feelings and thoughts, opening up effective pathways for coping and personal growth.
Is Music-Oriented Counseling for You?
I work with professional and amateur musicians, as well as with non-musicians who love listening to music and want to incorporate it into their lives.

My Vision
Hello! My name is Anastasia Starostina, and my vision is to support and guide people through the power of music. I want to create a world where music is not only seen as an art form but also as a powerful tool for personal and emotional development. Through my work, I strive to raise awareness of the many possibilities music offers and to help people reach their full potential.
My Story
I have been playing the piano for 21 years and love attending concerts. I studied Linguistics and Musicology, focusing on the psychological aspects of both disciplines. To apply my knowledge in the best possible way, I started a music psychology podcast two years ago called Happy Through Music.
After completing my studies, I pursued training in life and social counseling, which I successfully completed with distinction. I wholeheartedly look forward to getting to know you and supporting you in different ways—perhaps even through music!

My Services
My specialization lies in stress management, performance coaching, and strengthening resilience. I support you in various areas of life.
I work with a range of methods and interventions, including solution-focused, systemic, and person-centered approaches. All sessions are strictly confidential and conducted in accordance with legal confidentiality obligations.
